From Saint-Victor-de-Malcap, it’s just a short drive of about 25 minutes. So it’s perfect for a late afternoon: first, stroll through the narrow streets; then, enjoy the sunset; and finally, stay for dinner.

Lussan is perched on a rocky outcrop, offering views that you simply can’t get from the plains. The Château de Fan, with its Renaissance architecture and ancient fortification walls, dominates the townscape, along with the Église Saint-Pierre and a Protestant church—all testaments to the village’s eventful history. If you have time, be sure to plan a detour to the Concluses de Lussan, an impressive gorge located nearby. For those who prefer a shorter outing, a stroll through the narrow alleys between the old stone houses is enough.
